About Me

My photo
Shelli
Interior designer by trade, & a crafty mom at heart! My mom-the antique enthusiast, grew up in my grandfather’s clock shop (a real life coo-coo clock shop) where she learned to fix, buy, and sell clocks & antiques. With 2 small kids & my father’s death she was forced back to work -Managing a thrift store. So needless to say I grew up with a lot of 2nd hand items, (plus almost died every time we would pass a garage sale because mom would swerve into oncoming traffic to see if they had anything good) & learned at a young age the awesomeness of thrifty shopping! Having a mom who was a super shopper helped fuel my fire for thinking out of the box to create awesome items from rubbish. My design specialty is taking my clients small budget & turning an entire room into a gorgeous customized design. I love to do all of the work myself (with of course the help of my awesome husband) which includes finish carpentry, tiling, painting, wood working, sewing, painting, upholstery, spray painting, thrift shopping, garage sale-ing, did I mention painting? I hope I can give you ideas for projects, I would love to share your photos, as well as receive any input on ideas! Thanks and God Bless!
